I specialize in proofreading transcripts both swiftly and accurately to assist busy court reporters. I proofread in PDF and provide high-quality work by being meticulous, thorough, hardworking, and diligent. While proofreading I look at punctuation and grammar; I look for any misspelled, misplaced, or forgotten words, and homophones; I look for any formatting errors such as inconsistent speaker names, by-lines, parentheticals, or time stamps; and I look at content for coherence and readability. I also proofread according to each court reporter's style and preferences.
I strive to provide excellent work to alleviate one of the many responsibilities/stressors for court reporters, so you can feel confident with accurate and polished transcripts.
